S’Festele celebrates Alsatian culture from June 3 to 7.

From June 3 to 7, Strasbourg will host the latest edition of S’Festele, a festival created by young people to introduce visitors to Alsatian culture in a modern and welcoming way. Launched two years ago, the event aims to connect younger generations with their heritage through a program that blends tradition with contemporary trends.
This year, the festival is expanding and will feature five days of activities, including concerts, workshops, meet-and-greets, participatory folk dances, and festive evenings. The goal is to present a contemporary image of Alsace, free from clichés, while showcasing its traditions and identity.
The big new feature of this year’s event is the S’Festele Village, set up on Place de l’Université for the weekend. Around fifty vendors will be showcasing their work there, including artisans, illustrators, organizations, tattoo artists, producers, and food trucks serving up their own takes on Alsatian specialties.
A wonderful opportunity to experience Alsace in a different way and enjoy a pleasant time in the heart of Strasbourg.
To get to Place de l’Université, take tram lines C, E, or F, which stop directly at the “Université” stop.
