Les Sacrées Journées in Strasbourg
From 5 to 18 October 2026, Strasbourg will host the 14th edition of Les Sacrées Journées, a unique festival celebrating sacred music from around the world. This year's theme, “Chemins de lumière” – “Paths of Light”, highlights the power of music to bring different cultures and spiritual traditions together.
For almost two weeks, artists from different countries and cultural backgrounds will perform throughout Strasbourg and the surrounding area. The festival celebrates a rich variety of musical traditions, featuring music, singing and dance inspired by different cultures and spiritual traditions.
One of the festival's special features is the opportunity to experience different traditions through music. Concerts take place in remarkable locations including churches, a mosque, a synagogue, a pagoda and temples, creating a unique cultural and musical experience.
The programme also includes workshops, conferences, interfaith meetings and cultural events, giving visitors the opportunity to discover new traditions and learn more about the world's cultural diversity.
