The Book Rally returns from June 1 to June 20.

From June 1 to June 20, 2026, the third edition of the Book Rally invites readers to explore bookstores and publishing houses across the Strasbourg metropolitan area. Organized by the Interprofessional Book Confederation (CIL), the event celebrates the richness and diversity of local publishing.

The concept is simple: 19 teams, each bringing together a publisher, a bookseller and an artist, have created original window displays in 19 bookstores located in Strasbourg, Bischheim, Schiltigheim and Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Each display offers a unique blend of literature and artistic creativity.

Visitors are encouraged to travel from bookstore to bookstore, collecting stamps in a free passport available at participating locations. Those who collect at least six stamps can enter a prize draw for the chance to win book bundles offered by participating publishers.

Throughout the event, book signings, exhibitions, workshops and literary gatherings will enrich this city-wide cultural experience.
