The Cathedral Summer Light Show, July 4th to August 30th, 2026

From July 4th to August 30th, 2026, Strasbourg Cathedral will host the Cathedral Summer Light Show, a free nightly event combining monumental projections, lighting effects and an original soundtrack.

Created to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Fondation de l’Œuvre Notre-Dame, the show transforms the cathedral façade into a living work of art, highlighting eight centuries of construction, restoration and craftsmanship through six visual sequences.

Performances take place every evening on Cathedral Square from 10:30 p.m. to midnight in July and from 10:00 p.m. to midnight in August. Visitors can also discover an outdoor display of restoration casts on the cathedral forecourt throughout the summer.

A must-see summer experience blending heritage, light and artistic creativity.
