Where is the dream, where is reality?
Sixteen photographers answer this question with a series of 8 photos each. Beneath the veil of illusion, the composition is rigorous. Elegantly staged, each series opens like a book. A sort of screen or case, the initial image invites the reader to the famous "Once upon a time". The stage is set! The eye is invited to take an imaginary and sensitive stroll through an unusual space or a character imbued with strangeness. The visual replaces words and breathes visions. The shots, distant or close, vary according to the photographer's intention, and energize the rhythm of his story. The atmosphere is consistent, too, from one series to the next, with its blend of the familiar and the unreal, supported by timeless colors. It's a lovely stroll, this plural reading on the stage of Dream and Reality. The art of suggestion remains a mystery. Between the real and the imaginary, photography allows the artist "to link the two worlds".
