La Chèvre, music and engagement fair returns April 19-21, 2024

Independent publishers and labels will be exhibiting their books, brochures, fanzines and music at Molodoï, from April 19 to 21. La Chèvre will also feature discussions starting on Friday evening, concerts on Saturday and workshops throughout the weekend.

Feminist issues in the spotlight

A stand, for example, will be reserved for the publishing house On ne compte pas pour du beurre, to defend inclusive children's literature, made up of "luminous and varied stories in which all diversities simply coexist". L'Alyte, which produces radio leaflets, and the comic strip and micro-publishing collective stachmoule will also be present.

The show kicks off on Friday evening at 7pm, with an aperitif followed by a presentation of Révolutionnaires, featuring the life and struggle stories of six women from Germany, Uruguay, Switzerland, Italy and France.

On Sunday April 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., author Anne Humbert will host a discussion on her book Tout plaquer.

Concerts on Saturday

The show will be open from 1.30pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, an evening of concerts is planned until 1am, featuring a choir, post-medieval and 70s future tunes, a DJ set... The full program is available on La Chèvre's blog.
